Domestic, commercial, and everything mid-renovation.
Prices below are real starting points for straightforward jobs. Anything unusual gets a fixed quote after we've seen it — we don't do the ring-back-with-bad-news routine.
Every Queensland home needs interconnected alarms by 2027.
Since January 2022, any home being sold, leased, or having a lease renewed has needed photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms — in every bedroom, in the hallways connecting them, and on every storey. From 1 January 2027 that extends to all owner-occupied homes in the state.
Interconnected means when one sounds, they all sound. It's the single change most likely to get everyone out of a house at 3am, and it's why the legislation exists.
Most three bedroom houses need four to five alarms. We supply and fit a compliant set, interconnect them, test the lot and hand you the paperwork — usually in a morning.
- Photoelectric alarms, hard-wired or ten year sealed battery
- In every bedroom, connecting hallways, and on each storey
- All interconnected, so one triggers the rest
- Required now for any home sold or leased
- Certificate issued and kept on file for you

Common jobs, fixed price
Fixed prices assume standard access and no surprises behind the wall. If we find something, we stop and call you before doing anything that changes the price.
Two electricians, both named on your certificate.
Not a call centre with a roster of subcontractors. You'll get one of these two, and whoever quoted the job is the one who does it.
